Looking for anyone with the name of WEYHE.
I am doing a genealogy project for the last 2 years.
And need some help tracing my family tree.
My great grand fathers name was Johann Louis Weyhe and wife Rebecca Mindermann. From Hanover Germany.
Rebecca had a brother Herman Minderman an John from Kenosha Wi. from Danbury Ohio?
Lived in Charleston, South Carolina about 1840 to 1856, then they went to New York, to meet Johanns sister Helene Weyhe (Moeller) who was having a baby to be named Louis Charles Frederick Moller .
From There they went to Wisconsin (Kenosha {Pleasant prairie}) where they had more children.
Here some of there kids names, Frederick William Is my Grandfather, John Lewis, Christopher Cole, Herman,John Eiba, Harry, Dorathea, and Matilda.?

Frederick William is my grandfather he had 12? Kids, ( Wifes Maiden Names were Woodman, Mackey, & Martin) here are some of there names, my dad John Joseph, Frederick William, Elton Lamar, Burnell, Eva Rebecca, Rhea, Louis, Laura, Virginia, Dortah, Mae or May, & Naomi.

Wheeler from Ohio, Seufert from Ohio & Chicago, Naiomi Frontz?, Woodman from my Grandmother, Mary G. Dolan from my aunt Rhea from Elgin IL, Callahans from Kenosha Wi. Allen (Weyhe) Callahan was a Kenosha Police officer.

Some cousins were Margaret from Winnetka, IL, Lewis from IN, Edward John Weyhe from Kenosha WI, Kenneth also from Kenosha and Alice Lois Weyhe from Kenosha Wi also and more. Looking also For Von Glahns of Wilmette Dora was an aunt.
Also looking for anyone who knows about the Weyhes, Von Glahns, Mindermanns(1 and 2 nns), and Woodmans from Catawba Island, PORT CLINTON Ohio.
And surrounding areas.
We Had a Weyhe Reunion July 11 2004 and it went over great for the first Weyhe Reunion and we are going to have the seconf one in 2006 date not yet figured out. Any one who is looking to come can call me my name is in the phone book in ILL charles weyhe the only one in ILL.

We have some sad news Leo Dolan Passed Away Jan 2005, I was glad I got to meet him in 2004 it was a very nice and pleasant visit, it was to short.
Please everyone remember Leo Dolan In your prayers.

Now for some good news 4 of the Weyhe Men had DNA done this last month and we found out 3 of us are 100% related.

More good news i have been talking to my first cousin Carol (Naomis Daughter, my dads step sister) who I have never met yet, but we will meet someday in the future. This is really Great as I will finally find out more about Catawba Island, Ohio.

And I found out I have 2 more 1st cousins who are men, and they live in Ohio.
